libgldi-dev software package provides Light and eye-candy dock to launch your programs (dev package), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgldi-dev
libgldi-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgldi-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgldi-dev *
You will get with libgldi-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
